I woke up this morning in hopes that yesterday wasn't real. That it was all a nightmare. But I could feel my eyes still damp with the tears that wouldn't stop and knew that was not the case. Before yesterday when people would ask me where I lived, and I answered "Newtown, Connecticut", they'd follow up with "Where is that?" Now everyone knows where Newtown is. And for all the wrong reasons. I wish that weren't the reality. I wish that I did not hear the constant buzz of news helicopters overhead. I wish that The Today Show, Good Morning America, and the CBS Early Show weren't broadcasting 4 miles from my house. Or that if they were it was for something happy. I wish that there weren't 27 new angels in heaven. I wish that these innocent children & educators did not die in vain. I wish that there is real change in this world as a result of yesterday's events. I wish that we come to live in a world where we do not fear...
