    I'm a FLK LOVER! Heck, I'd marry it. You still get that ZING! of joy and happiness as the heel magically makes this heel fit of glory. I'm into them and no, no one told me to say that. I would not knit socks without them. I knit two at a time toe up and am in love. I'm making one right now. I'm working the heel as I listen to you. I am in heaven!!!!!! You and FLK heels. Knitting happy time. :)

    Hey! I love the Chia Goo red cable needles too, they're my fave! I love the join, sharp tips, the cable and everything you mentioned too. However, I like to do socks toe up, two at a time. I use two different needles, so usually one chia goo, one knit picks, so that I don't accidentally pickup the wrong needle. I learned this tip from a Craftsy class I took.

      Oh and as far as length, I usually use short 16" needles since I'm not looping around in magic loop :)

My Birthday Wish

I woke up this morning in hopes that yesterday wasn't real.  That it was all a nightmare.  But I could feel my eyes still damp with the tears that wouldn't stop and knew that was not the case. Before yesterday when people would ask me where I lived, and I answered "Newtown, Connecticut", they'd follow up with "Where is that?"  Now everyone knows where Newtown is.  And for all the wrong reasons.  I wish that weren't the reality. I wish that I did not hear the constant buzz of news helicopters overhead. I wish that The Today Show, Good Morning America, and the CBS Early Show weren't broadcasting 4 miles from my house.  Or that if they were it was for something happy. I wish that there weren't 27 new angels in heaven. I wish that these innocent children & educators did not die in vain. I wish that there is real change in this world as a result of yesterday's events. I wish that we come to live in a world where we do not fear...
